Last night I dreamt that we all had to wear wigs for the concert and couldn't get my music organized in the correct order!

A Friendly Reminder to RSVP

Hello Boys and Girls

Just another reminder to RSVP for our upcoming Semiquincentennial Celebration symposium. I’ll need to order the music around 12/20 so if you could get your names in ASAP I’d appreciate it greatly. Thank you!!!

Rehearsal Review Part 2

Nutcracker Jingles

  • General rule for the song: when you have the melody, bring it out

  • Strong, final consonants, especially the letter T, throughout

  • Be ready for the tempo to increase on page 6

  • In March of the Toy Soldiers, be aware that the melody passes back and forth from soprano and alto to tenor and bass.

  • For dance of the sugarplum fairy, the dynamic level is Metso piano

Help with an error

I forgot to review the conversation I had with our accompanist, Jessi, last spring before scheduling this concert. She wanted the concert scheduled for 7 o'clock so she could attend another event that evening. As you know, I scheduled the concert for 7:30 PM. It is too late to make any changes now, and I feel terrible for making the mistake. I'm asking those of you who can bake or prepare her some Christmas treats to possibly do so and bring them to either Monday's rehearsal or the Christmas concert for her. If you think of anything else you might want to gift her, feel free to do so. Thanks in advance for your help. 😶

Choir Folders

If you don't have a choir folder and intend to buy a nice one, mymusicfolders.com has a range of options (https://www.mymusicfolders.com/product-category/choral-folders/) It looks like you can get a pretty nice folder for $20-$35.
